Stir Fry Rice Recipe is a mixture of long grained rice, combination of warm peas, carrots and onions with scrambled eggs blended all together! You’ll not be getting take out any longer! The wonderful thing about this recipe is you could add no matter you desire to! You may added chicken, shrimp, or other protein. 4 cups cooked and chilled long grain white rice
2 medium carrots – peeled and diced
1/2 cup frozen peas
3 green onions – thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic – minced
3 tablespoons butter – divided
1/2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
3 to 4 tablespoons soy sauce
1 small white onion – diced
2 teaspoons oyster sauce (optional)
salt and black pepper
- Melt half tablespoon of butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, scrambled egg, stirring often. Take away egg, and transfer to a separate plate.
- Add another 1 tablespoon butter to the pan and heat till melted. Saute carrots, onion, peas and garlic, and season with a generous pinch of salt and pepper till the onion and carrots are delicate, about 5 min.
- Over high heat, add remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons of butter, and stir till melted. Instantly add the rice, green onions, soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using), and stir till mixed. Proceed stirring for a further 3 minutes to fry the rice. Then add within the eggs and stir to mix. Take away from heat, and stir within the sesame oil till mixed. Taste and season such additional soy sauce, if needed.
- Serve instantly, or refrigerate in a sealed container for as much as 3 days.
